Here is a
World War Imperial German 2 Ribbon Bar.
The Ribbon Bar features the vaunted
Iron Cross
and
Hindenburg Cross
with
Swords Device
.  It has an early pin back device on the backside.  The Iron Cross was awarded for valor in combat on par with our Bronze or Silver Star.  The Hindenburg Cross with Swords represents front line service and is the rough equivalent of our Combat Infantry Badge.  Von Hindenburg created the
"Old Fighters"
award in 1934 and it is also known as the
Honor Cross
.  The Iron Cross was a WWI decoration.  The Ribbon Bar is oversized and has been worn and shows wear.  The Ribbon Bar is 86 to 102 years old and in about fair condition.
