Here is a
World War I Imperial German Army Photo Post Card
.  This
Black and White Photo Card
is an interesting study
depicting
what I believe is
4 enlisted men, 1 officer
and a
couple local children
posing in a ruined city on a street.  2 have
Pickelhaubes
,  the officer a visor cap another an enlisted visor cap and the 5th a soft enlisted cap.  The men have rifles, the
pompous leader has a small holstered pistol
and is leaning on a
sword
.  There is purple ink writing on the back along with what I discern to be a
1917 cancellation
.   I can not make out the European script.  It is in about fair condition and apparently 104 years old.

- All are armed, you can see ruins and 2 children are posed to the front
- Writing on back, blue ink, 1917 stamp cancellation
- Vibrant, legible printed information, clear detail to the photo
- Dinged/bent corners, wear to borders, stock darkening, handling 2 small horizontal tears to one vertical border
- Ink is fading but legible, I just can not make out the European Script
- Measures 5.375 x 3.375 inches
