    Description

    Offered here is a vintage Greek Orthodox religious icon. The image of Mother May and the child Jesus are hand painted on a wooden board which is framed with ornately detailed 950 Sterling Silver in deep relief. The painted icon is an exact copy of surviving Byzantine art in the Byzantine museum. The plaque measures 4" by 3" and is ready to display.
    The silver has not been polished or cleaned and has the original darkened patina. The original label is intact on the back.
