    DESCRIPTION:
    Nice 2 page, FULL LENGTH WWI German death card for a soldier in a great photo SHOWING rifle, fixed bayonet, covered spike helmet, & all accouterments. ALSO HAS A COLORED REVERSE PATRIOTIC/MILITARY DEPICTION WHICH IS HARDLY EVER SEEN:
    Specifically, "the valiant youth Mr. Josef Kirmeier, soldier in the 15th Bavarian Inf. Regt, 2nd Machine Gun Company, who heroically died for his homeland in a storm attack BY A DIRECT ARTILLERY HIT on July 15, aged 20."
    GREAT FULL PAGE PHOTO of this young man wearing uniform and covered spike helmet, rifle/fixed bayonet, and ALL equipment & accouterments. On the reverse is also a VERY RARE COLORED patriotic/military battlefield depiction.
    Extremely difficult to find WWI soldier death cards anymore, but I am selling part of my collection and have a few nice ones to offer.
    Very nice looking card, in excellent condition.
    Original card, more than 100 years old, and a nice face and story to a very young soldier who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic.
