Handmade according to canons of Orthodox Church, tempera painting on wood table covered with alabaster filler and golden coverage. The icon is made of dry wood reinforced with wood bars, covered with a natural fiber cloth layer, for a higher strength and stability against the external factors. Base preparation is made by a tested recipe, based on bone glue, chalk dust and other quality ingredients.

The painting technique is called egg tempera, an ancient procedure that gives the painted layer special and artistic properties and also a greater resistance over time.
The icon was finished with professional varnish, which hold and protect the painting and do not allow yellowing over time.
