Original WWI Belgian Flag, Battle Damage Nice Shape Kaiser Trenches Doughboy. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Up for sale is a hard to find WWI Belgian flag in nice condition with signs of battle ware. This flag measure 56” x 24” and was carefully stored for over 100 years.
Belgium was overrun early on by the Imperial German Army in the beginning on hostilities, I suspect that this flag was a souvenir taken by a soldier in the Kaiser’s army. It’s also possible that an allied soldier was able to trade for it and brought it back to the US or Canada, the former being more likely. Very cool piece of history, First World War Belgian flags don’t come up for sale very often, now is your opportunity to snag a cool piece of history!
