Original German book by Paul Ettighofer about the near mutiny of the French Troops in Flanders in 1917 and about the great opportunity missed by the German Command to cease the moment, take the initiative and win the war on the Western Front. The French Armies had grown fed up with the condition and with the war and the majority of French troops effectively went on strike for a while during 1917...but German Intelligence knew nothing about it and it completely passed them by...the book is superbly written by one of the great German WW1 authors and it contain a large number of single and double page photographs of the German, French and the US Army.The book is hardcover and has a total of 300 numbered pages. It measures 7 3/4" x 5". This book is guaranteed to be original and from the time and it is not some copy, fake or reprint of any kind.
