1910s Five Inner Cigar Box Labels with Assorted Themes and designs. Some have Chromolithograph, Gold-gilt and/or Embossed designs. These amazing labels were designed to be used inside the cigar box on the interior lid. Traditionally they feature a colorful and amazing illustration from literature, history or just the imagination of the artist. These types of labels are collector's items not only because of their age and beauty, but because the fantastic artwork on these labels have been applied to all kinds of different modern products.Contained in this listing are the following brand labels: 1. Outstanding and witty, "1910s Lithographic, Embossed, Gold-gilt Cigar Box Label, 'Three Twins'."  Really!   It's not 3 sets of twins … just 3 twins.   Go figure!
The background is a rich wine color, and it has a lithographic design showing 3 twins in a laundry basket, portrayed in various moods … as is typical of children in general, but definitely of 3 twins.  If you like gold-gilt, this cigar label has it in spades.  It measures approx. 9" x 6-1/2" (≈22.8 cm x 16.5 cm)
This label is in excellent condition.   Because the label is such a dark color, you might see some mile printing flaws, but the gild-gilt is wonderful.   The surface and corners are all flawless.  There is one minor "nick in the right-hand edge."  The back looks like someone had ink on their fingers while handling it, because there are several very light "finger shaped" smudge marks.
These amazing labels were designed to be used inside the cigar box on the interior lid.  Traditionally they feature a colorful and amazing illustration from literature, history or just the imagination of the artist.
