For Sale a circa. 1900 Russian Orthodox antique hand-painted icon depicting Christ Pantocrator.

Material: Egg tempera on gessoed wood in brass over tin oklad revetment cover
Size: 5 3/8 in high x 4 1/4 in wide,

Authentic worn used condition.
This Majestic Old Authentic Icon with Original Oil Hand Painted Jesus is on old wooden panel covered with ornate hand forged Metal Oklad. The Back of Wooden panel  is conered in original cloth this Oklad shows discolouration due to age. There ls vague Writing on the bottom of the rim.  The Icon is in as aquired/original unaltered condition.
Showing wear and surface scratches with very worn patina on metal reposse parts some remaining brass/gold painted overlay, is in as found condition. View photos as they are a major part of my description.
